Spreading the joy of chess to schools and kids all across Florida.

About Us

Hey everybody, I'm Evan. I'm an 12th grader (about to be a college freshman!) in Central Florida and I've been playing chess since I was 5. Throughout my life I've seen the tremendous benefits of chess, such as improved memory, critical and analytical thinking, focus, patience, good sportsmanship, camaraderie and friendship, not to mention the simple joy that chess has given and continues to give me on a daily basis. Chess is an educational tool, a therapeutic outlet, a sport, a way to meet people, and so much more.

As some of you may know, I run an organization aimed at providing chess boards to students in need. We have donated hundreds and hundred chess sets nationwide helping over 1000 kids find chess. That's a lot of chess sets! It's also a lot of happy kids who will have a physical, tangible, real-life chess board of their very own. After being stuck indoors on the computer for a year during the pandemic, getting students to engage with real people in physical space, doing something as enriching as chess, can only be a good thing.

With your help, together we can spread the many blessings of chess to as many people as possible. Thanks so much!
